Concord NH – Join the Concord Police Department, Concord Fire Department, Parks & Rec, Concord General Services, and many other community organizations and businesses for this year’s National Night Out event on Tuesday August 6th.
National Night Out is In Concord NH Is On August 6th 2019 And Starts At 5:00 pm
This will be the 36th annual National Night Out being held across the United States. It is a community crime prevention program of the National Association of Town Watch, Inc. The annual event is held throughout the United States to promote cooperation between police departments and communities. This event is designed to heighten crime prevention and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police partnerships within the community; and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The Concord community is invited to come and participate.
There will be a variety of events at Rollins Park including food, music, bike safety information, animal displays and exhibits, contests, youth activities, Liberty, the Concord Police Department’s comfort dog, Touch-a-Truck, rock climbing wall, a NH National Guard Blackhawk helicopter, informational display tables, and more. Admission is free and all food and refreshments are only $1. There will be a free shuttle from Rundlett Middle School.
