Warner NH – The Twilight Tasting is September 26 from 5:30 to 8 at the Mt Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner. This unique event features restaurants, cafes, caterers, and food service providers showcasing their talents by sampling a dish of their choice.
Businesses From 4 Chambers of Commerce Sponsoring This Tasty Event at Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum
The participants are members of the Contoocook, Kearsarge Area, Henniker, and Lake Sunapee Region Chambers of Commerce who are sponsoring the event. The Twilight Tasting is open to the public with proceeds to benefit the Indian Museum and the Nature Discovery Center.
The museums are open to tour while sampling food and viewing displays from the Chambers.
The Mt Kearsarge Indian Museum allows visitors to travel through time and space by displaying artifacts and presenting information on prehistoric to contemporary Native Americans from every corner of the North American continent. The Nature Discovery Center is on the same grounds with collections of rocks, minerals, sea life, insects, mounted birds, and mammals, many local to the area. The complex includes the Medicine Woods and Arboretum.
Participants to date include A Better Image Promotions and Marketing, Blakeney’s Fine Baked Goods, Elior Acres, The Everday Café & Pub, Intervale Farm Pancake House, Kearsarge Gore Farm, The Lakehouse Tavern, Market Basket of Warner, Marzelli Deli, McDonalds of Warner, and the Yankee Farmers Market. New participants are likely to be added. Barton Insurance Agency is sponsoring the beer and wine bar including local craft brews and ciders.
Tickets are $5 for members of the Chambers and $10 for the public with proceeds benefiting the museums.
